Accessibility

Overview

Creating accessible materials and offering various formats is crucial when developing your course and sourcing the materials. Rather than supplying a list of resources (below) I will link to the Office of Online Education's Accessibility, Faculty Resources page(s). There you can find helpful information and context about making your course accessible. You will also discover CUNY resources to help guide you through making elements of you course accessible.

To enhance this discussion, we will leverage  SUNY's OSCQR Rubric, more specifically the "Interaction" section, supplying us with a framework on why meeting these standards is important, as well as how to approach meeting those standards.

For those unable to attend the live session, we have pre-recorded a "mini-lecture" describing the main topics, themes and strategies. You can find the recording under the "Pre-Recorded Review" heading.
