How do I sign up for an appointment?
- It's easy! Go to our appointment request form.
- Answer all questions that are applicable to let us know how we can help you and your availability.
- Click SUBMIT when you are done. You will receive a call from our office, as well as an email, as soon as we have scheduled your appointment. If a coach or tutor is not available at any of the times you are available, we will contact you and keep looking for an opening. We schedule appointments throughout the day.
- You can also request an appointment or to see a tutor on a drop-in basis by stopping by our virtual center which is open during our business hours (if you stop by ouside of our business hours, you will receive an error message).
All tutoring and coaching sessions are 50 minutes in duration.
How do I access my online tutoring or coaching session?
Instructions for accessing your weekly coaching or tutoring appointment appear here. Essentially, once you've received a confirmation of an appointment, you'll log on to TutorTrac, our appointment tracking system, using the email you've saved on CUNYFirst. Once on TutorTrac, click on the link under "Upcoming Appointments" which will appear 15 minutes before your visit. The link will take you directly to your Blackboard Collaborate session with a member of our staff.

Tutoring is not available when the College is closed, or during winter and summer sessions unless advertised otherwise. If you have questions about the availability of tutoring, please call the LTC at 718-960-8175.
