The Public Art in the Bronx web site and companion hard-copy guide have been developed as an extension of the 1993 exhibition by the same title. Site descriptions have been adapted from the catalogue essays, "Public Art in the Bronx: A Descriptive History" by Sally Webster, and "Contemporary Public Art in the Bronx" by Susan Hoeltzel. This project has been developed by the Lehman College Art Gallery. Susan Hoeltzel has served as project director.

Additional project descriptions and biographical entries have been written by Elisabeth Lorin, Lise Kjaer, and Maria Pagliarulo. Dora Aviles, Marion Barus, and Michelle Lechman have served as research assistants.

The neighborhood section has been written by David Bady, director of the Lehman College City and the Humanities Program and by historian Anthony Iguanza of the Bronx Institute. Archival photographs have been provided by the Lehman Library/CUNY Special Collections department with the assistance of Janet Munch.

Ideas for Teachers have been developed by Annie Coan in conjunction with Edith DeChiara. Additional contributions to the education section have been made by Kristin Baxter and Phillip Kautz.

The development work that made this project possible has been provided by Mary Ann Siano.
Eric Matos has served as the primary web developer for the site as well as the graphic designer for the hard copy guide. Denise Mediavilla has assisted with the design. Technical support has been provided by David Gillison and Bob Schneider.
