Biography

Eva-Maria Sofianos is a Lehman alumna, and earned her M.S. in computer science in 2006. From 2003-2015 she worked at IBM, leading numerous development projects for corporate clients. Since 2005 Ms. Sofianos has been an adjunct lecturer at Lehman, teaching computer science and programming courses, and has also taught at SUNY Farmingdale. For the past two years Ms. Sofianos has managed projects and programs for Lehman’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies, including the Innovation Startup Lab and the Web Development program. She is the co-founder of Traincube, an organization that matches web development trainees with small businesses, and regularly mentors students pursuing careers in computer science and technology.
