Biography

Kevon Bruce

Dr. Kevon Bruce joins the faculty at Lehman College as a Doctoral Lecturer and Clinical Coordinator in the Counselor Education Program. He brings extensive experience as a school counselor, clinical administrator, and counselor educator, having previously served as an Assistant Professor and Clinical Director.

Dr. Bruce holds an Ed.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision, an M.Ed. in School Counseling, an M.B.A. in Management, an M.A. in Conflict Resolution, and a B.A. in Theatre. A Licensed Professional School Counselor with multi-state certifications, he is also credentialed as a Certified Master of Career Services (CMCS) and a Certified Clinical Supervisor of Career Counseling (CCSCC).

Throughout his career, Dr. Bruce has demonstrated a strong commitment to clinical excellence, counselor preparation, student equity, and leadership across K–12 and higher education settings. In his role at Lehman College, he looks forward to overseeing clinical field placements, mentoring future school counselors, and supporting the ongoing growth and success of the Counselor Education Program.
