Biography

Boram Kim (she/her/hers) is an assistant professor of Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences at Lehman College of the City University of New York (CUNY). She holds a PhD. in Linguistics from the Graduate Center of CUNY. Her fields of interest are investigating articulatory characteristics in children with speech sound disorder using an ultrasound imaging technique and prosodic characteristics in individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Her main teaching interests lie in the areas of speech science, phonology/phonetics, and ASD. As a bilingual speech-language pathologist with a culturally linguistically diverse background, she is committed to creating an inclusive learning environment in her classroom.
