Calling All Mentors: Support NYC High School Students with iMentor!

Lehman College is proud to partner with iMentor, a youth mentoring program that empowers first-generation college students. Through one-on-one mentorships, iMentor helps students graduate high school, succeed in college or other post-secondary pathways, and achieve their goals.
As a mentor, you'll be matched with a NYC public high school student and support their personal, academic, and career growth over two years. With just a few hours each month, you can help a young person build confidence, set goals, and plan for their future.
What you'll do as a mentor:
- Send one weekly message through iMentor's online platform
- Attend a monthly evening meet-up during the school year
- Guide your mentee as they explore college and career options
iMentor provides training, resources, and ongoing support so you are fully prepared to guide your mentee's journey. Together, mentors support over 3,000 NYC students each year, including more than 45 who are now enrolled at Lehman.
