For the Street Styles final, Madre Guía will discuss her role as a queer, NYC dance music DJ and her approach to curating nights centered on the dancefloor. She will walk you through her process of preparing for DJ gigs and creating an energetic arc for her sets while emphasizing the important relationship between DJ and dancer. She will end with a 1-hour DJ set weaving between house, hip hop, ballroom, and more.
