As a result of the Carmen Hall renovation reducing available classroom space, instructors are being asked to rethink how and where teaching happens. This workshop series is designed to turn that constraint into an opportunity, helping instructors explore practical, pedagogically sound approaches to blended, hybrid, and online course design. Whether you're facing a full move online or restructuring around reduced in-person time, these sessions are built to help you make deliberate, student-centered choices, turning a scheduling challenge into a chance to strengthen how your course engages learners.
In this session you will learn more about practical strategies for creating high engagement in online classes. Topics include principles for teaching online, fostering relationships with students, and digital tools and strategies for participation.
