Good News for Lehman Reaccreditation Process

It’s good news for the reaccreditation process at Lehman! On Feb. 6, the College Senate considered and endorsed the final draft of Lehman’s self-study report.

The Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) team will visit Lehman on April 7-10. The MSCHE team is a group of university leaders from across the United States who will come and help evaluate all that Lehman does. This process is a great opportunity for the College to show off the work that we’re doing. The Middle States site visit is critical to our reaccreditation effort and we are working to ensure that you have all the information and resources necessary to understand what will happen during the visit.

Over the next 10 weeks, you’ll see signs around campus, receive emails, and hear more details about the Middle States process and the team’s site visit. Our goal is to raise awareness on campus of how the reaccreditation process affects our Lehman experience. You can engage with the Middle States process by visiting the Lehman Middle States reaccreditation webpage, participating in upcoming activities, and asking questions.

Through this process, we will successfully show how the MSCHE accreditation standards are a byproduct of our campus community’s intentional and determined pursuit of academic excellence.
