School of Business Prepares Students for Workforce Success

The School of Business is transforming the classroom into a launchpad for career-ready skills. Dean Dene Hurley and faculty members Alexander Núñez-Torres and Andy Gold co-authored a new article highlighting how students develop critical workplace skills, like leadership, communication, and problem-solving, through hands-on courses in finance, entrepreneurship, and beyond. From Bloomberg terminal projects to startup accelerators, Lehman students apply knowledge in real-world settings, guided by faculty and alumni mentors. This initiative reflects the school’s commitment to bridging the gap between academic preparation and workforce readiness.
