Fifty students recently completed the Prompt Engineering Accelerator Fellowship, a six-week intensive training program in AI prompt engineering at CUNY on the Concourse. Offered through a partnership among Lehman College, Bronx Tech Hub, and the New York City Department of Small Business Services, the fellowship gave participants foundational and practical skills in artificial intelligence, prompt design, and digital communication.

Participants received hands-on instruction in AI principles, generative technologies, and real-world applications across fields including education, technology, marketing, and customer service.

Led by industry professionals, the fellowship featured a structured curriculum focused on ethical and responsible innovation, technical skill-building, and problem-solving. Fellows also received mentorship, career development support, and opportunities to connect with local innovators. Over the course of the program, they built professional portfolios to support future pathways in emerging technology fields.

Open to residents from a wide range of backgrounds, the fellowship required only curiosity, commitment, and an interest in building digital literacy.

Bronx Tech Hub supported the initiative as part of its broader mission to foster innovation, empower entrepreneurs, and help grow a more inclusive tech ecosystem in the Bronx.
