Dr. Elgloria Harrison is the Dean of the School of Health Sciences, Human Services, and Nursing. Our school has expanded our mission to educate, empower, and engage the next generation of health care providers. Dr. Harrison’s career has focused on health disparities and health equity research that has impacted minoritized communities. She is a Respiratory Practitioner by training with an area of expertise in Asthma and Environmental Impacts on Health Outcomes. She has been particularly interested in Air Pollution and Climate Change. She is a, community-based researchers in health disparity and health equity research working in underserved communities. She comes to Lehman College from Washington, DC, where she conducted research on the impact of the environment on health and well-being of local communities.
