Theoretical High Energy Physics. Current research interests include nonperturbative aspects of gauge theories, matrix models, noncommutative field theories, higher dimensional quantum Hall systems. Research is supported by the National Science Foundation and Professional Staff Congress - CUNY.

Lehman Professor of Excellence, 2021 - present; Scholar at Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics, Santa Barbara, CA, 2000-2002, 2013-2015 and 2020-2022; Recipient of Feliks-Gross endowment award (2002).
