Lehman Language Center
Welcome to the Language Center! We are part of the Language & Literatures department. This is a hub for language learning available to all students – students not enrolled in a language course are also welcome. We host a variety of activities, events, movie screening, and collaborations with clubs around campus. Come and join us!
The Language Center was extremely fun and helpful for me this semester. With Alexis, he helped me better understand Japanese when it came to grammar, vocabulary, and some basic convo skills. Overall, it was a great experience to have and I appreciate everyone involved!

Our Space
The Language Center has been conceived as a flexible space that can be arranged in different layouts to meet the needs of a wide range of events and activities. The space can accommodate activities such as tutoring sessions, movie screenings, lectures, workshops, and other language and cultural events.
The Center is equipped with laptops, Hyflex classroom system, wireless internet, and headsets on request. A variety of language-learning resources including books, games, and online tools for students, faculty, and staff are also available.
The Center is wheelchair accessible and can accommodate up to 50 people.
