Relationship to Taskstream

All Lehman College School of Education students will be using Taskstream in order to submit their edTPA portfolio to the state of New York for certification. Taskstream is a recognized partner of Pearson (New York State’s edTPA scoring platform). Candidates will be able to securely transfer their commentary, video and other forms of evidence to Pearson for official scoring directly from their Taskstream account.

Though the actual certification requirements (edTPA portfolio work) will be submitted through Taskstream, students must register and pay for the New York State edTPA certification processing through Pearson.

A student may have several portfolios or folders in Taskstream to organize and upload their work. The cost of a Taskstream account includes all portfolios, no matter how many are required or developed. During the student teaching/internship semester, students will have at least two portfolios and possibly more:

  • Student Teaching/Internship
  • edTPA
  • Possible program portfolio
  • Possible course portfolio(s)

Lehman student teachers and interns will find content specific edTPA requirements on the left side of your Taskstream account, and your student teaching or intern DRF (directed response folio) requirements on the right side.

You will also find camera reservation link and all technology user guides in your student teaching or intern DRF.
