Dr. Mine Doyran is a (full-time, tenured) Associate Professor at the Department of Management and Business Innovation at Lehman College of The City University of New York (CUNY). She holds MBA in Finance/Financial Management (major) and International Business from La Penta School of Business, Iona College, and a PhD in International Relations with an emphasis in International Political Economy (IPE) from State University of New York (SUNY)-Albany. At Lehman, she has taught undergraduate courses in Strategic Management, Managerial Economics, Business Statistics (I&II), Principles of Management, International Business Management, Macroeconomics and Microeconomics. Her academic interests are in corporate governance, international corporate strategy, and contemporary issues in business and government. Dr. Doyran has obtained various prestigious recognitions for her work including a CUNY Academy, Feliks Gross Endowment Award and Financial Management Irene Hammerbacher Memorial Award-La Penta School of Business, Iona College. Recognized by CUNY Academy and published by Routledge (2013, 2016), her book, Financial Crisis Management and the Pursuit of Power: American Preeminence and the Credit Crunch, examined the key regulations passed in response to failures of corporate governance at financial institutions deemed ‘too big to fail’ in US history. Prior to joining Lehman College, Dr. Doyran worked as a lecturer in International Business at School of Business at Metropolitan College of New York and was a junior data analyst at the Bureau of Program and Policy Analysis at a NY state government agency in Albany. She also serves as an adjunct professor of Economics and Latin America in the Social Sciences Department and briefly taught in the Department of International Trade and Marketing at the Fashion Institute of Technology/SUNY in Manhattan. She is currently a member of the Latin American Studies Association (LASA), Academy of International Business (AIB) and Eastern Economic Association (EEA).
