Student Spotlight | Morfeia Dulgeroff, B.S. ’03, M.S.B ’19

Cropped

Morfeia Dulgeroff immigrated to the U.S. from Bulgaria in 1997. Her journey at Lehman College began with a single English as a second language course. Five years later she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and was recruited on the college campus for an entry level role as an Assistant National Bank Examiner with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), U.S. Department of the Treasury.

Lehman’s quality education and supportive environment drew Morfeia back to campus in 2017 for a Master of Science in Business with a focus in Finance, which enhanced her skill set, boosted her credentials, and put her in line for a promotion. Morfeia currently works as a National Bank Examiner with the OCC, U.S. Department of the Treasury, where she serves as a Technical Team Lead for Enterprise Risk Management and Governance. Now she returns to Lehman College to recruit the next generation of bank examiners.

“I appreciate the high educational standards at Lehman College. At Lehman, I learned that commitment to excellence is what drives success. For those who want to learn, it is a wonderful place that is welcoming to everyone, no matter who you are, or where you're coming from.”
