Application Prerequisites & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or its foreign equivalent from an accredited school
- Minimum undergraduate grade point average of 3.0
- A minimum of one-year experience in a healthcare setting either as a healthcare clinician, administrator, or can demonstrate experience within business sectors for candidate who are early careerists
- Complete fillable application
- Al transcripts from outside the CUNY system. If you attended a school within the CUNY system, we can access your transcript; however, if you attended a school outside the CUNY system, you will have to send an official transcript
- Your completed and updated resume detailing ALL past professional employment and any community or professional organizational leadership positions
- Three letters recommendation: letters must be from an employer, healthcare professional or previous academic professor
- A 500-word essay that includes responses to the following:

For the protection of its citizens, each license and certificate has requirements that individuals must meet in order to be licensed or certified in New York State. CUNY’s academic programs leading to licensure or certification are carefully designed to meet and exceed these State requirements. This is a role CUNY plays in protecting the public.
