Dr. Jacob Eubank, Ed.D

Dr. Jacob M. Eubank is an Assistant Professor in the Recreation Education and Therapeutic Recreation programs in the Department of Exercise Sciences and Recreation at Lehman College CUNY. He earned his Ed.D. in Higher Education Administration with a focus on leisure and recreation behavior among college students from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. He teaches various undergraduate and graduate courses in the field of recreation including topics such as administration, research methods, leadership, and sports and society.

Dr. Eubank also serves as the Deputy Chair of the Department of Exercise Sciences and Recreation and as Program Director of the Recreation Education and Therapeutic Recreation programs. His research focuses on recreational behavior and it’s impact on college student health and well-being. Prior to joining the faculty at Lehman College CUNY, Dr. Eubank served as the Assistant Director of Aquatics and Fitness at the University of North Carolina Wilmington and continues to teach aquatics and other courses for the American Red Cross as a certified Lifeguarding Instructor Trainer, Water Safety Instructor Trainer, and First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Trainer.
