Assistant Professor
Dr. Apeksha Mewani is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Equity, Administration, Research and Technology at Lehman College, City University of New York. Her research focuses on health equity, digital health communication, and data analytics, examining how social determinants, digital information platforms, and healthcare systems shape health behaviors and outcomes. Dr. Mewani earned her Doctor of Education and Master of Science in Community Health Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and holds a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Management and International Business Economics from the University of Manchester, UK. Prior to joining Lehman College, she held teaching and research positions within the City University of New York system and worked in digital health innovation and public health research organizations.
