Lehman College’s Urban Male Leadership Program (UMLP) and CREAR Futuros Mentorship Program, in collaboration with the Department of Women & Gender Studies, will host a Women’s History Month panel discussion titled Women Shaping Institutions & Generations on Monday, March 23, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM in the East Dining Room of the Music Building.
Centered on the theme, “Honoring women whose leadership creates lasting institutional impact and inspires future leaders across disciplines,” the event will bring together accomplished leaders in higher education to explore the transformative power of women’s leadership and its enduring influence on institutions and communities.
The panel will feature:
- Dr. Catherine Alicia Georges, Professor Emeritus at Lehman College
- Jessenia Paoli, Esq., Interim Vice President for Student Success at Bronx Community College
- Jodi Roure, Ph.D., JD, Associate Professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice and Founding Director of the CUNY BMI Rising Scholars of Justice Program and the JJC University of Houston Law Center Pre-Law Pipeline Program
The discussion will be moderated by Teresita Levy, Ph.D., M.Phil., Executive Director of International Programs & Community Engagement and Associate Professor at Lehman College.
