Architectural descriptions were written by David BadyJanet Butler Munch, and Lloyd Ultan. Elisabeth Lorin and Mary Ann Siano developed the biographical entries. Patricia Cazorla has been our web designer and developed the site with additional technical support from David Schwittek. Ideas for Teachers were written by the gallery’s education coordinator Sember Weinman. The Tours and Ideas for Teachers sections were designed by gallery educator Ali Irizarry. The Neighborhood section was written by David Bady. In addition, the project has been designated a National Endowment for the Humanities "We the People" project and is being supported in part by funds the agency has set aside for this special initiative. The goal of the "We the People" initiative is to encourage and strengthen the teaching, study, and understanding of American history and culture through the support of projects that explore significant events and themes in our nation's history and that advance knowledge of the principles that define America. 

"Public Art in the Bronx" is an online guide developed by Lehman College Art Gallery/CUNY. Designed as a companion to "Bronx Architecture," "Public Art in the Bronx" was developed as an extension of the 1993 exhibition by the same title. Site descriptions have been adapted from the catalogue essays, "Public Art in the Bronx: A Descriptive History" by Sally Webster, and "Contemporary Public Art in the Bronx" by Susan Hoeltzel.

Susan Hoeltzel served as project director. Biographical entries have been written by Elisabeth Lorin. The Neighborhood histories were written by David Bady. Archival photographs have been provided by the Lehman Library/CUNY Special Collections department with the assistance of Janet Munch.  Lesson Plans were developed by Sember Weinman and Ali Irizarry. The development work that made this project possible has been provided by Mary Ann Siano.
