Accreditation and Compliance
Our camp is fully accredited by the New York City Department of Health under Health Code Article 48. Compliance under this Health Code ensures the highest standards of safety, health, and quality are met for every camper.
This DOH accreditation confirms that our facilities, staff, and programs meet rigorous standards for supervision, emergency preparedness, and medical care. Families can feel confident knowing their child is in a safe, trusted environment right here on the Lehman College campus.
What does this mean for your camper?
Our camp operates with a valid permit issued by the Department of Health, and our camp safety plan has been reviewed and approved. Every staff member is fully qualified, background-checked, and trained to uphold the highest standards of safety and care in our program. Our facilities and activities are regularly inspected to meet rigorous safety standards.
Article 48 covers everything from emergency procedures to health protocols—so you can feel confident that your child is in a safe, supervised, and healthy environment each and every single day of camp.
