Paint, glue, build, and imagine—Arts & Crafts is where creativity takes center stage. Campers dive into hands-on projects that blend color, texture, and storytelling, from sculpting with clay and designing wearable art to crafting nature-inspired pieces and collaborative projects. Every activity is designed to spark self-expression, patience, and pride in the process. With gentle guidance and plenty of room to explore, kids learn that there’s no “wrong way” to make art—only new ways to see the world.

Computer Technology

Curious minds meet cutting-edge tools in our Computer Technology program. Located at the Information Technology Center, our campers dive into coding, game design, and digital art projects that turn ideas into reality. Guided by expert instructors, every session sparks creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. From building apps to designing interactive worlds, kids gain confidence and skills that power their future.

Dance

When the music starts, the magic begins! Campers learn fun steps and creative routines—from upbeat hip-hop to smooth modern moves—in the state-of-the-art Apex Center dance studio. Every session is filled with music, laughter, and confidence-building moments, guided by our experienced Dance Instructor and counselors who inspire growth and self-expression.

Nature @ Lehman

Step into a summer adventure where nature leads the way. On Lehman’s green and vibrant 37-acre campus, campers explore winding trails, shaded gardens, and hidden green spaces that turn every day into a new discovery. Whether they’re tracking bugs, spotting birds, planting seeds, or creating nature-inspired art, kids dive into hands-on activities that spark curiosity and joy.

Campers build mini habitats, journal under trees, and learn how ecosystems work—all while developing teamwork, confidence, and a deeper connection to the world around them. Our instructors are not only passionate about the outdoors—they’re trained to guide safely and thoughtfully, ensuring every child feels supported and inspired.

Swimming & Water Safety

In the Bronx’s only Olympic-sized pool, your child learns more than strokes—they learn safety, confidence, and respect for the water. Our certified aquatic team, featuring Red Cross WSI instructors and vigilant Red Cross certified Lifeguards, ensures every swimmer receives expert attention. From first splash to advanced technique, we create an environment where progress feels natural and fun. Located at the state-of-the-art APEX Center at Lehman College, swimming is a skill for life, taught with care and trust.

Reading & Writing Circle

Every story begins with a spark—and here, that spark turns into creativity that shines. Campers share ideas, explore books that challenge their thinking, and craft pieces they’re proud of—from poems and short stories to reflections inspired by their world. With caring guidance and a supportive circle, kids build confidence in their words and discover the joy of expressing themselves.

Self-Defense

Our self-defense defense activities are more than moves—it’s mindset. In every session, campers learn practical skills to stay safe while building confidence, focus, and respect. Our instructors teach techniques rooted in discipline and awareness, turning every drill into a lesson in strength and self-control. With the Bronx spirit behind them, kids discover that true power comes from preparation, courage, and character.

Sports

At Lehman College's More Than A Camp, the field is where champions are made—one game, one laugh, one high-five at a time. From fast-paced soccer and basketball to thrilling relay races and outdoor challenges, every activity sparks movement, confidence, and pure fun.

Our coaches bring the heart of the Bronx to every play, teaching effort, respect, and teamwork that go beyond the scoreboard. Here, kids don’t just join a game—they discover their strength, their rhythm, and their place in a community that cheers them on all summer long.

S.T.E.M

Why just wonder when you can create? In STEM, curiosity turns into hands-on adventures as campers build circuits, design robots, and tackle challenges that make learning exciting. No boring worksheets—just real projects that spark imagination and teamwork. Every activity is a chance to experiment, learn from mistakes, and celebrate success. Campers don’t just learn science and math—they discover how to think, adapt, and dream big.

Yoga

Yoga gives campers a chance to slow down, stretch out, and feel good—inside and out. Held in the Apex Center and across the Quad’s open green spaces, each session blends movement, breathing, and mindfulness in ways that are playful, calming, and just right for kids. Led by certified instructors who truly understand young learners, yoga helps build focus, flexibility, and confidence. Whether flowing through poses or lying back under the trees, campers learn to listen to their bodies, manage emotions, and recharge. It’s more than yoga—it’s a moment to breathe, grow, and feel grounded throughout our camper's action-filled day.
