Career Connected Learning

Lehman College is proud to introduce the first group of CUNY Beyond Fellows, a selection of five master professors who excel in preparing students for careers through teaching methods like experiential learning. Lehman’s Center for Teaching and Learning offers additional support for professors to help them incorporate career readiness and training into each course syllabus.

In addition, Lehman College offers courses through the CUNY Practitioners in Residence Corps (PIRC), which is a group of people active in business and industry who share their real-world experience and expertise with students.

Our Blueprint to Success (BTS) and Learn, Empower, Ascend, Progress (LEAP) programs guide students during their time at Lehman. Both offer programming and support services that help students develop competencies in areas valuable to employees. BTS is a college-wide option all students can take advantage of while LEAP focuses on School of Business students, preparing them for solid careers in the marketplace.
