The Graduate programs at Lehman play a prominent role in the academic mission of the university. We are pleased to recognize the research, scholarly, and artistic efforts of the graduate faculty and students. Since 1990, over 12,677 Master's degrees have been awarded. Currently, approximately 18 percent of the overall student body is registered in graduate programs, and over 29 percent of the degrees awarded annually are granted from the over 60 graduate programs. This high ratio of students and degrees awarded reflects the scale of the university's graduate programs and resources, the strength of the graduate faculty with a long tradition of personal and professional concern for students, and the opportunities granted to graduate students for involvement, recognition, and support.
