The Department of Mathematics at Lehman offers a BA in Mathematics and a BA in Economics and Mathematics, as well as two minors: one in Pure Mathematics and another in Actuarial Mathematics. Each program enables students to tailor their course of study for a range of academic and professional interests. The Department also offers several graduate credentials: a Masters in Pure Mathematics, a Masters for in-service math teachers looking to enrich their content knowledge, and an advanced certificate in Actuarial Mathematics. All Department programs seek to prepare students for work in industry, a career in education, and/or further study.
All members of the Department of Mathematics faculty are distinguished mathematicians. Dedicated advisers and staff are readily available to support the student experience. We invite you to explore our programs and discover more about our department.
