Nahid Addy

Nahid is a Lehman College student who is seeking a BS degree in Nursing. She is aspiring to be a CRNA. Nahid is currently tutoring Anatomy and Physiology I (BIO 181) and Nursing - Essentials of Organic Chemistry (CHE 120) at the center.

 

Audrey Adon-Rosario

Audrey is a Macaulay Honors Scholar and Lehman student and is seeking a BS degree in Biology. She is aspiring to become a Forensic scientist. She currently tutors General Biology I & II (BIO 166 & BIO 167), General Chemistry I & II (CHE 166 & CHE 168), and Nursing – Essentials of General Chemistry (CHE 114) at the center.

 

Susana Alvarado

Susana graduated from Lehman College with a BS and MS degree in Biology. She is currently teaching at Hostos Community College (CUNY), and have also taught Anatomy & Physiology II at Lehman. She tutors Anatomy & Physiology I & II (BIO 181 and BIO 182), General Biology I & II (BIO 166 & BIO 167), Human Biology (BIO 183), Body System and Concepts (BIO 173 – College Now Program), and Nursing- Essentials of General and Organic Chemistry (CHE 114 & 120, respectively). She can also tutor ANT 171 – Intro to Human Evolution. Susana is the facilitator for our BIO 183, 173, and BIO 230 Exam Review Workshops and our Pre-Fall Semester Workshop for General Biology I (BIO166) and Anatomy & Physiology I (BIO 181) in August.

 

Lyrick Batista

Lyrick is currently a Lehman student pursuing a BS degree in Physics and a BA in Mathematics. He is aspiring to receive a Ph.D in Astrophysics, doing research on Gravitational Lensing Geneticist. He currently tutors both algebra-based General Physics I & II (PHY 166 & 167), and calculus-based General Physics I & II, for Engineering students (PHY 168 & 169), as well as Math Methods for Physics (PHY 207) at the center.

 

Nicholas Boodhan

Nicholas is a recent graduate of Lehman College with a BS degree in Anthropology with an interdisciplinary in Biology and Chemistry. He is currently seeking to become a physician. Nicholas currently tutors General Biology I & II (BIO 166 & 167), and General Chemistry I & II (CHE 166 & CHE 168), Nursing - Essential of General Chemistry (CHE 114), and Anthropology (ANT 171- Intro to Human Evolution and ANT 269 - Intro to Human Variation) at the center.

 

Lane Dibler

Lane is a graduate of the University of Vermont with a B.A. in Gender Studies and English Literature with a specialization in journalism. She came to Lehman College last year to complete science courses required for medical school applications. A former journalist, Lane is now transitioning towards a career in medicine with the goal of becoming a physician. She is currently tutoring General Biology I & II (BIO 166 & BIO 167), Nursing - Essentials of General Chemistry (CHE 114), General Chemistry I & II (CHE 166, and CHE 168), and General Physics I (PHY 166) at the center.

 

Ethan Hogue

Ethan is a current Lehman student working through the BSMS track with the goal of graduate school in Microbiology after matriculation. Ethan tutors General Chemistry I & II (CHE 166 & 168), General Biology I & II (BIO 166 & 167) as well as General Physics I (PHY 166) at the center.

 

David Kolade

David is a recent graduate of Lehman College with a BA in Chemistry with a specialization in Biochemistry. David is aspiring to be a physician. He tutors Nursing - Essentials of General an Organic Chemistry (CHE 114 & CHE 120) and Labs (CHE 115, and CHE 121), General Biology I & II (BIO 166 & BIO 167), General Chemistry I & II Labs (CHE 167 & CHE 168), Organic Chemistry I (CHE 232), Biochemistry (CHE 444) at the center. David is the facilitar for our Pre-Fall Semester Workshop for Nursing-General Chemistry (CHE 114) in August.

 

Yawa Koumako

Yawa is a current Lehman student pursuing a BS degree in BioMedical Sciences. Yawa is aspiring to become a physician. Yawa currently tutors General Biology I & II (BIO 166 & BIO 167), General Chemistry I & II (CHE 166 & CHE 168), Nursing– Essentials of General and Organic Chemistry (CHE 114 & CHE 120), and Organic Chemistry I & II (CHE 232 & CHE 234) at the center. Cynthia Leon

Cynthia graduated from City College (CUNY) and Lehman College with a BS in Biology and Psychology. She is currently seeking to become a physician assistant. Cynthia tutors Nursing– Essentials of Organic Chemistry (CHE 120), Organic Chemistry I & II (CHE 232 & CHE 234), and Microbiology (BIO 230) at the center.

 

Kashfia Mahmud

Kashfia graduated from Lehman College with a dual degree, BA in Biology and AnthroBioChem (ABC). She is currently seeking to become a physician. Kashfia tutors Anatomy & Physiology I (BIO 181), General Biology I & II (BIO 166 & BIO 167), Human Biology (BIO 183), Body System and Concepts (BIO 173 – College Now Program), and Nursing - Essentials of Organic Chemisty (CHE 120), and Organic Chemisty I (CHE 232). Kashfia is the facilitator for our Pre-Fall Semester Workshop in Nursing – Organic Chemistry (CHE 120) in August, and our BIO 167 Exam Review Workshop during the semester.

 

Emy Markova

Emy is currently a Lehman student pursuing a BS degree in Biology. Emy is aspiring to become a Geneticist. She currently tutors General Biology I & II (BIO 166 & BIO 167), and General Chemistry I & II (166, and CHE 168), Nursing– Essentials of General Chemistry (CHE 114), and General Physics I & II (PHY 166 & 167), and Genetics at the center.

 

Farzaneh Nowrouzi Gharakozlo

Farzaneh is a Lehman College graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics, Foods, and Nutrition (DFN). She is passionate about nutrition education and community health. She is adamate about helping students to strengthen their understanding of dietary principles and their applications in health care. Farzaneh currently tutors DFN courses, such as DFN 120, 220, 248, 340, 340, 347, 348, 430, 437, 445, and 470.

 

Richerly Paulino

Richerly is a graduate of Lehman College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology with an interdisciplinary focus in Biology and Chemistry. She is pursuing a career in medicine with a focus on Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN) surgery. Richerly currently tutors Essentials of Chemistry (CHE 114), General Chemistry I (CHE 166), and General Chemistry II (CHE 168) at the center.

 

Welbeck Sowah

Welbeck is a graduate of Lehman College with a Master’s degree in Biology. He was an Academic Coach at the Lehman Tutoring Center LTC Tutoring at Lehman College and a Supplemental Instruction (SI) leader at Bronx Community College (BCC). Welbeck is currently seeking to become a physician assistant. He currently tutors Nursing-General Chemistry (CHE 114), General Chemistry (CHE 166), and Microbiology (BIO 230) at the center.

 

Romulo Valadez

Romulo is a current Lehman College student pursuing a BS in Nursing (BSN – click here). Romulo tutors NUR 344 (Altered Health States - Pathophysiology), NUR 301 (Therapeutic Intervention I: Introduction to Professional Nursing Practice), and NUR 300 (Nursing as a Human Science) at the center.

 

Seong Woo Jang

Seong Woo graduated from the City College of New York (CUNY) with a BE in Electrical Engineering. He is a current Lehman student pursuing a nursing career. He tutors Anatomy and Physiology I (BIO 181) and Nursing - Essentials of Organic Chemistry (CHE 120) at the Science Learning Center.
