Deadline for Dropping Classes
Tuition refunds are calculated in accordance with the Tuition Refund Policy, for those students who officially drop a class or classes during the first three weeks of the semester/session. Fees are not refundable.
Courses dropped on or after the first day of the semester/session can incur a tuition liability charge. This charge will be a certain percentage of the course tuition, depending on the drop date.
Fall 2023 - Tuition Liability Schedule | |
---|---|
0% Liability (100% refund) | Drop by August 24, 2023 |
25% Liability (75% refund) | Drop August 25 - August 31, 2023 |
50% Liability (50% refund) | Drop September 1 - September 7, 2023 |
75% Liability (25% refund) | Drop September 8 - September 14, 2023 |
100% Liability (0% refund) | Withdraw September 15 and thereafter |
Important Reminder
- Courses must be officially dropped by the student prior to the first day of the semester in order to avoid any liability charges listed above. If courses are added on the first day of class, the student is responsible for all tuition and fees. If the student drops a class the tuition refund schedule still applies. Note: Fees are not refundable.
- Failure to submit payment or attend classes is not considered an official drop. It is the student's responsibility to manage his or her enrollment.
