Did you earn college credits while in high school? You may have earned college credits through programs such as Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB), College Now (CN)*, Syracuse University Project Advance (SUPA), or other college-level courses taken during high school.

Before you meet with an advisor or register for classes, be sure to request your official transcript(s) and/or score report(s) for all college credits earned in high school to be sent to Lehman via their electronic delivery service. Additionally, inform your advisor about any college credits you have earned, as they may fulfill curriculum requirements and help you avoid repeating courses.

Please note: Courses taken through CUNY’s College Now program are automatically transferred, so no further action is required.

The Onboarding Advisement Office ensures a smooth transition for all entering first-year, transfer, re-admit, and second-degree undergraduate students into the Lehman College community, providing specialized support to new students from their admission to their first-semester registration. Designated onboarding academic advisors are here to guide you through the various common enrollment barriers and will provide you with personalized academic advisement and course planning to facilitate your first-semester registration.

Your assigned Onboarding Academic Advisor will contact you via text and/or email when it's time to schedule your first advisement appointment. It is important to make sure your contact information is up to date in your CUNYfirst Student Center so that you don't miss our messages. Instructions on how to update your contact info in CUNYfirst can be found HERE.

In the meantime, you can visit the Onboarding Advisement Office website HERE for our new student checklists to ensure you complete all necessary onboarding tasks.

We look forward to welcoming you into the Lehman community!
