The Division of Student Affairs at Lehman College

New Student Orientation

Welcome to Lehman College!

The Division of Student Affairs staff and the Office of Campus Life would like to congratulate our newly admitted students. We are pleased that you have chosen to become a part of the Lehman community and look forward to supporting you in your transition and college career. Lehman faculty and staff are focused on assisting you, as an incoming student, in your transition and want to provide you with the best possible foundation for your college experience. To this end, we have designed an engaging orientation program with you in mind.

Orientation is geared toward creating several opportunities throughout the day, allowing participants to obtain answers to questions and to get specific issues addressed. Key representatives from Admissions, Testing, Academic Advising, Financial Aid, and other Lehman administrators, faculty, staff, and students will be available throughout the program for your specific questions or concerns. Because we know that participation in orientation can make a significant difference in your experiences as a Lehman student, all new students are expected to attend.

For disability-related accommodations during orientation, contact the Office of Student Disability Services at 718-960-8441.

If you are an international student, please contact the International Student and Scholar Office (Shuster, Room 280) at 718-960-7274 or email

You can only take the Online Orientation after you have committed to Lehman and have registered for your Fall 2021 Classes. The Online Orientation program will be provided in several short modules that focus on highlighted services and offices that will be vital to get you started on your educational journey at Lehman.

We are happy to have you begin your journey at Lehman College. The staff at campus life and myself would like to provide you with information to start your journey with us and as successful as you can at the institution.

The Online Orientation program is designed to offer you introductory information on all the services and support offices you will be interacting with on your way to graduation. At the same time, it is not a full overview of all the services we have to offer. The program will highlight and focus on one that will get you acquainted with how to navigate this community.

Please ensure that your Lehman Account credentials are available, as they will be needed to log into the program. If you are having any issues acquiring your credentials, you can visit the Virtual Helpdesk at the link below:
