About NYCMP
The New York City Mathematics Project is a NYCDOE contracted provider of professional learning services to support teachers and administrators and is an approved NYSED sponsor of CTLE credits. The New York City Mathematics Project (NYCMP) at Lehman College, CUNY, established in 1989, provides professional learning services in mathematics to Pre-K – 12 teachers and administrators.
NYC Mathematics Project Programs
Consulting & Classroom Support
Provide in class support for teachers in planning lessons, units and projects aligned with the Next Generation/Common Core Learning Standards;
Seminars, Workshops and Study Groups
Designed to help participants develop the content knowledge and pedagogical skills necessary for effective mathematics instruction and assessment in the elementary, middle, and high school grades and are aligned with the Next Generation /Common Core Learning Standards.
Leadership Institutes
Institutes are designed to strengthen support for the Next Generation /Common Core Learning Standards for teaching and learning mathematics through exploration of mathematics content, curriculum, standards, assessment, and technology.
