M.S. IN NURSING

The Master's degree program in nursing at Lehman College is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org).
The Masters and Post-Graduate APRN certificate programs, consist of a sequence of twelve courses for a total of 45 credits, include the clinical training and didactic instruction required to become licensed family nurse practitioners or pediatric nurse practitioners.
The Master’s degree nursing programs follow a Cohort Model and are designed for full-time commitment, allowing students to attend classes on campus for just one day a week to ensure successful completion. The graduates of these programs are qualified for NYS license as a nurse practitioner and eligible to take the national certification exam in their specialty areas.
