How to Apply to the R.N. to B.S Nursing Programs

The Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN-BS) program is a 37.5-credit major of the total 120 credits required for graduation. The RN-BS program is offered both fully Online and In-person (Traditional). It is designed to specifically prepare Registered Nurses, with an unencumbered New York State license, for professional nursing practice and provides a foundation for graduate study in nursing.

Prerequisite courses, including math, chemistry and human growth and development, must be completed prior to registering for any nursing courses.

Steps to Apply:

  1. Complete the CUNY Application to Lehman College
    • We accept RN-BS applications for both the Spring and Fall semesters.
    • To start your application, visit the CUNY Application Portal.
  2. Upload Your RN License & Registration
    • Ensure you upload a copy of your RN license and registration in the Supporting Materials section of the CUNY application.
  3. Admission Consideration
    • Upon admission to Lehman College, you will be considered for the RN-BS nursing program.
    • You will receive an email from the Nursing Admissions Team with information about your consideration to the RN-BS program.
