Meet the Staff
Ashmini Hiralall, MS, Director, Wellness Education and Health Promotion Program
Ashmini received her bachelor’s degree from Connecticut College and her master’s degree from Syracuse University in Child and Family Health in the Global Community. Ashmini has been at the Wellness Education and Health Promotion Office since 2018, first as the College Prevention Coordinator and now as the Director. In her role, manages all day to day office operations, plans, implements and evaluates all Wellness initatives, and supervises all staff members. She also coordinates the office’s prevention efforts and contributes to the holistic wellbeing of the Lehman community. Ashmini currently serves as the Chair of the Lehman Prevention Collaborative, a substance misuse prevention coalition at Lehman College. Prior to joining the Wellness Education and Health Promotion Office at Lehman College, Ashmini worked in Residence Life at a small, private liberal arts college where she was responsible for an array of projects. Most notably, she has worked with campus stakeholders to increase knowledge and education around gender based violence and sexual assault. She has a passion for empowering young adults to make healthy decisions and hopes to give the students she works with the tools to own their health.
Sheridan Dunne, Program Coordinator, Wellness Education and Health Promotion Program
Sheridan is a recent graduate of Lehman College and has worked with the Wellness Education and Health Promotion Office for several years while a student. Sheridan's responsibilities include assisting with all program planning for the office, outreach to various campus stakeholders and team management.
